The All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter in Bomadi Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State has strongly endorsed the re-election campaigns of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.
This endorsement was formalized during a key stakeholders’ meeting held over the weekend at the Bomadi Secretariat, organized by the LGA Chairman, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye. In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, Andaye highlighted that the gathering united party leaders, prominent figures, and community mobilizers to bolster the APC’s influence in the region.
Andaye underscored the critical need for internal cohesion, particularly in light of recent political shifts, such as the defection of prominent members from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC. “Unity is not merely an option; it is essential for advancing Bomadi LGA and ensuring success in 2027. We are fully committed to securing the entire council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori,” he asserted.
He urged party officials to engage actively in their wards and promote widespread participation in the forthcoming APC e-membership registration drive, which he described as vital for strengthening grassroots support and achieving future electoral victories.
In a collective resolution, the stakeholders unanimously backed President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and Governor Oborevwori’s “M.O.R.E Agenda,” praising both leaders as exemplars of forward-thinking governance.
A senior party leader commended Andaye’s stewardship, stating, “Chairman Andaye has demonstrated outstanding vision in managing Bomadi LGA affairs. His leadership has ushered in a new era of politics, and we are solidly behind him to achieve triumph in 2027.”
The meeting concluded with Andaye presenting a detailed account of his administration’s achievements, earning widespread applause for his inclusive approach and skill in bridging diverse interests.
